JOAź  Project Methodology – Overview

JOAź provides turnkey design, fabrication and installation services for high performance dust and vapor extraction systems to the plastic, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. We utilize patented technology and equipment to solve complex issues in fugitive dust and vapor emissions. In the course of our installation, we may provide dust control hoods, vapor control hoods, dust explosion protection, vapor filtration systems and dust filtration systems.

In order to meet the specific system requirements and performance goals of our customers, JOAź utilizes a systematic approach (or Six Sigma) to project planning. Our approach provides the customer with critical performance milestones in which to measure our success throughout the project from conceptual design through project realization.

T1 – T3: Project identification through conceptual design
T4 – T6: Detailed engineering through system validation and maintenance.


The JOAź approach starts with a JOAź Pre-Engineering Study to identify the physical properties of the materials to remove, the work place constraints and objectives, and the most economical method of separation and recovery. The second step is the Detail-Engineering phase followed by the project realization and validation.
